The promise
I want these tools to last.
Practical Focus is just me, and I build these tools from problems I actually had. Here are a few things I can promise about all of them.
They stay calm.
No streaks, no guilt, no pulling you back just to keep you using it. You open a tool when it helps and close it when you’re done.
They stay yours.
The apps are free and run on your device. You don’t need an account to start, and nothing about you gets sold to anyone.
They stay alive.
The core of every app is free, and it stays free. Cloud backup and syncing across your devices costs me to run, so that part is a small yearly price, per app. There may be optional extras later, like cosmetic touches for anyone who wants to chip in, and nothing you actually need will sit behind them. I’ll keep as much free as I can, for as long as it doesn’t threaten the app’s future. I’d rather earn it that way than run ads or sell your data.
